Collaborative Divorce Services
Divorcing couples may choose to select a collaborative team to peacefully resolve their divorce issues. This process involves a commitment on the part of both parties not to go to court. The process involves a written agreement that reflects this agreement and the desire to be fair and equitable. The collaborative process may or may not involve a multi-disciplinary team to assist as needed.
Divorce Coaching
As part of the collaborative team, a divorce coach may be brought in to assist one of the parties with their grief process, their communication skills, and their ability to manage the negotiations involved in the collaborative process.
Child Specialist
Those parents using the collaborative team will be required to create an age appropriate parenting plan as part of their agreement. The child specialist is the neutral professional who meets with the children and then with the parents to help the adults to understanding the impact of the separation on their child, to help them create their parenting plan and to assist them with any co-parenting issues.
Collaborative Civil Services
The collaborative process that began with divorce has now expanded into civil cases. The benefit of a collaborative approach and commitment can result in a fair and equitable resolution.
Communication Coach
As part of the collaborative process in both family and civil matters, this mental health professional can be of tremendous help to all parties, including the professionals.
